Cinnamon joined Walker in 2017 as the Safety Director. In this role she has continued to build safety as a value at Walker. Cinnamon is responsible for the company’s safety program by establishing a strong safety culture and fostering a cooperative environment for all employees to succeed safely in their positions.
Cinnamon also serves as the Committee Chair of Walker’s ESOP and Appreciation Committee, helping to build a positive employee environment at Walker. Cinnamon and her team on the committee organize many activities and events to elevate morale and support the family atmosphere at Walker. She also administers WMC’s social media presence. Cinnamon has been in the construction industry for 22 years, working in safety for over 10. She currently holds the Certified Safety Professional, Associated Safety Professional and Construction Health and Safety Technician certifications from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. She has received her Bachelor of General Studies from Indiana University. Cinnamon has also been an active volunteer since 2012 with the Girl Scouts organization.
